It was one of the last Moorish strongholds in Catalunya, and legend says the Saracen queen rode her horse off the cliff rather than surrender.<\/div><\/details>\n\n    <details><summary>When is the best time to go?<\/summary><div class=\"a\">Autumn to spring. High summer is too hot for most sectors, though early starts in shade can work. Winter is often superb \u2014 sunny sectors at this altitude can be perfect in January.<\/div><\/details>\n\n    <details><summary>Why is it a two-day trip?<\/summary><div class=\"a\">Siurana is two hours from Barcelona, so we run it over two days: real time on the rock instead of losing half the day to driving, plus you get to see the village properly.
