Details coming soonAt 4,167 m, Toubkal is North Africa's highest peak — a big, wild summit through the High Atlas and Berber country. We're bringing a guided ascent to Vert in 2027.
Details coming soonThe things people actually wonder about before booking a week away with strangers — answered honestly.
Most people do — usually more than half the group. A camp is one of the easiest ways to travel alone without feeling alone: you climb together, eat together and share a guest house, so by the second evening it stops feeling like a group of strangers. Solo bookers are never left standing at the edge of somebody else's holiday, and plenty of people who arrived on their own now come back together.
Someone always is, and it matters far less than you'd think. Our camps are chosen for places where easy and hard problems sit metres apart, so the group climbs in the same sector at completely different grades and nobody is waiting around or being left behind. The coaching is individual, not a class — you get looked after at your level, whatever that is.
The standard price is based on a shared room, which is part of what makes camps sociable and keeps the price down. On most trips a private single room is available for a supplement — tell us when you book and we'll arrange it with the guest house.
Broader than people expect — usually late twenties to late fifties on any given camp. What our groups have in common is enthusiasm rather than age or grade, and that mix is genuinely one of the best parts of the week.
A camp is several days built around one destination, with lodging, group meals and coaching folded into one price. Instead of a single outing you get real continuity: your guide sees how you move on day one and builds on it by day four, and you climb far more than you would on separate days out. You show up; we handle everything else.
Small on purpose — typically around ten to thirteen climbers with more than one guide, so coaching stays personal and everybody gets real time on the rock rather than a lecture and a queue. Exact numbers are listed on each trip page.
It varies by trip. Some camps welcome complete beginners with a bit of indoor experience; others suit climbers already pushing 6a or 6b. Each trip page says who it's for. If you're unsure, message us — we'd rather tell you honestly that a trip isn't right for you than have you spend a week feeling out of your depth.
Sometimes, depending on the trip and the guest house. Places like Albarracín have plenty to do for a non-climber — a medieval village, forest walks, ponds — while El Chorro is more climbing-focused. Ask us before booking and we'll tell you honestly whether they'd enjoy it or spend the week bored.
Some do. Wildfulness and the Albarracín Autumn Weekend Camp both return several times a year at different destinations or in different seasons — the chips on each card show every date currently confirmed. If the date that suits you isn't listed yet, message us: we often know the rough season before the exact dates are locked in, and can tell you when to check back.
Guiding, coaching and accommodation are always included. Meals, transport and technical gear vary by trip and are listed in full on each trip page. Travel to the destination is not included — you make your own way there, and we'll send meeting details once you book.
Bring your own climbing shoes and chalk — comfort matters over several days. Everything technical, including crash pads on bouldering camps and ropes and hardware on sport trips, is provided.
Every camp runs with a stated minimum, and we confirm by a set date before departure. If we don't reach it, you receive a full refund — no arguments. This is also why we ask you not to book flights or travel until you have our written confirmation that the trip is going ahead.
Some upcoming trips show 'register interest' rather than live booking, because dates or pricing are still being finalised. Registering costs nothing and commits you to nothing — you simply hear first, before we announce it anywhere else, and early registrations usually get first access to the early-bird rate.
Yes. We carry professional liability insurance for the guiding, but you need your own personal travel and accident cover that includes climbing. It's a condition of joining any camp, and it's what protects you if you need to cancel for personal reasons.
Yes — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergies are all manageable with enough notice. Tell us when you book and we'll arrange it with the guest house rather than leaving you to negotiate it at the table on the first night.
Because these trips involve accommodation and group logistics booked well in advance, terms are stricter than for a single guided day — check the specific trip page, or ask us before booking. If we cancel for weather or insufficient numbers, you're refunded in full.
