Services Contract

1. Conditions of Participation

The participant declares that they:

• Are at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian authorisation if a minor.
• Are in good physical and mental health, with no illness or injury incompatible with the activity.
• Will inform the guide of any relevant medical condition, allergy, or treatment.
• Possess the technical ability and physical fitness appropriate for the selected activity.

The guide may refuse participation if, in their judgement, the participant's physical condition or equipment is not adequate.

2. Participant's Obligations

• Follow the guide's instructions at all times.
• Respect the natural environment, the safety rules, and the group.
• Not leave the itinerary without authorisation.
• Accept that the guide may modify, interrupt, or cancel the activity for reasons of safety, adverse weather, or force majeure.

3. Assumption of Risk

The participant acknowledges and accepts that mountain activities, climbing, and hiking involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Injuries resulting from falls, slips, or impacts.
• Sudden changes in weather conditions.
• Accidents caused by third parties or natural factors (loose rock, rockfall, etc.).

The participant voluntarily assumes these risks and undertakes to act responsibly and prudently throughout the activity.

4. Guide's Responsibility

The guide undertakes to:

• Carry out their work in accordance with their professional training and experience.
• Prioritise the safety of the group at all times.
• Hold valid professional liability insurance.

The guide shall not be liable for incidents arising from the participant's failure to comply with safety rules, nor for unforeseeable or unavoidable events.

5. Insurance

The guide holds professional liability insurance. Participants are covered by the insurance provided through the AEGM. For mountain activities, each participant is additionally recommended to hold their own valid personal accident and mountain rescue insurance.

6. Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy

A booking is confirmed upon payment of 30% or 50% of the total price, as indicated on the activity page. Full payment is due 7 days before the activity.

Unless a different cancellation policy is specified for a particular activity, the following applies:

• More than 7 days in advance: 100% refund.
• Up to 72 hours before: 50% refund.
• Less than 72 hours before, or no-show: no refund.

If the activity is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or force majeure, the guide may offer an alternative date or a full refund of the amount paid.

7. Image Rights

Photographs or videos may be taken during the activity for documentary or promotional purposes. The participant authorises the use of their image for this purpose, unless they state otherwise in writing before the activity.

8. Personal Data Protection

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, the participant's personal data will be processed solely for the management of the activity and will not be shared with third parties without express consent.
