Not a day out — a season. The same certified guide, month after month, building toward the mountain you've been thinking about for years. We take on a handful of climbers a year, so each one gets everything.
We have built a program to help you throughout the process of accessing mountains. Our approach is that you progress thanks to our guides, across months, who will know exactly how to help you reach your goal.
That continuity changes what's possible. A guide who saw you on snow in February can build on it in April instead of reassessing you. Skills stack instead of resetting. Confidence compounds. And the objective that felt impossible in autumn — an alpine summit, a long ridge, going out on your own — stops being a fantasy and becomes a series of weekends with a purpose.
It's also the reason we keep it tiny. We take on two to four climbers a year, no more. Enough time for each of you, enough continuity to build real trust, and enough space to go at exactly your pace on exactly the terrain that gets you where you want to be.
Our programs are defined by what you actually want from the mountains. You might find yourself in one of these three.
For the climber who has found their joy and simply wants more of it. A season of great days on the finest rock and ridges of Catalunya — Montserrat's conglomerate spires, the granite crests of the Pyrenees, sea cliffs and long classic lines — with a guide who handles everything so you can just climb. No goal required beyond the pleasure of the day itself, and no pressure to progress toward anything.
For you if you love the mountains, you'd rather be led than lead, and you want a season of brilliant days with someone you trust.
Tell us about your season →You have a mountain in mind — a specific summit, a ridge, an objective that's genuinely out of reach today. We build the season around it: movement on snow, travelling a ridge, the feel of a long full day, the technical skills and the quiet confidence a big mountain asks for. You may still climb it with a guide beside you. You'll climb it ready, which is a completely different experience.
For you if you have a dream objective you're not yet prepared for, and you want someone to build the path that gets you there.
Tell us your objective →The boldest of the three: a season spent making yourself unnecessary to us. From leading multi-pitch through to genuine alpine and ridge autonomy — route-finding, rope systems, gear placement, snow, risk assessment, self-rescue, and the judgement that turns a climber into a mountaineer. The goal isn't a mountain. It's your own freedom in them, for the rest of your life.
For you if you want the mountains on your own terms, and you're ready for the real work of becoming self-sufficient.
Start the conversation →One of our climbers came to us with a dream: to stand on a great Alpine summit. So we built him a season.
Roughly one weekend every two months across a full year, we went to the iconic places of Catalunya. How to move on snow. How to travel a ridge safely. What a genuinely long day in the mountains does to your body and your decision-making. How to keep thinking clearly when you're tired and exposed. Piece by piece, the skills and the calm came together.
He finished ready for his summit — and ready for ridges he could now take on himself. Some of that freedom he wanted; some of it he chose to keep sharing with a guide, because being capable of soloing something and wanting to are different things. That's the whole point of a program: we get you ready. What you do with ready is entirely yours.
No two journeys look the same. Tell us what your goals are, so we can find a way to reach them.
Simple to begin, bespoke throughout.
Your objective, or your appetite. A summit, a skill, a season of great days, or simply "I want to get better and I don't know how." Whatever it is, that's where we start — and if you're not sure what you want, that conversation is often the most useful part.
Together we shape the season: how many outings, which terrain, what pace, what has to be learned before what. Rooted in Catalunya and the Pyrenees, built entirely around where you're going, and adjusted as we discover how you actually move.
Weekend by weekend across the season, with the same guide. Each outing builds on the last, and the plan flexes as you grow — because a real journey is never fully fixed in advance.
At the summit, at the skill, or at the point where you no longer need us for that terrain. Whichever it was, you get there with mileage behind you rather than luck.
A program is a relationship, not a booking. So it matters who's on the other end of the rope for a whole season.
You'll climb with José, our founder and lead guide — certified by the AEGM (Spanish Association of Mountain Guides) and holding a UIMLA international mid-mountain qualification, fully insured, and with over a decade of guiding across Spain, Morocco, Ecuador, the Alps and the Pyrenees.
What matters more over a season is how he works: patiently, without ever making anyone feel behind, and honestly. He'll tell you when an objective isn't realistic this year and what would make it realistic next year. He'll rest you before the hard section rather than in the middle of it. And he'll let you rebuild the same anchor five times without a hint of impatience, because that's how anything technical actually gets learned.
How a season-long program works, who it suits, and what happens when you get in touch.
